*sigh* Summer is good. I slept until almost 10 today. Today I helped my dad strip paint off the garage doors today (what fun) and then I went to church. The end. While I'm posting random links, I might as well tell you about www.sparknotes.com A friend told me about it, and it's pretty cool, especially for this Summer reading project I have to do for Honors English (Ugghhhh). We have to pick two books from this list, read them, and write a 4-5 pg "reading journal" on each. You tell your "feelings" of the book, not like a summary. ANYWAY, that website gives you a quick summary on each chapter, and you can even take a test on it, to see how well you understood it!
Now I found out my Mp3 player won't be here until at least Monday, and I will already be gone on the mission trip, meaning i'll have to wait another week! :K

*cough* Well... that was a nice 3 month break. I can't believe I abandoned my poor blog for that long. Anyway, a lot has happened since April. I have now officially graduated from middle school and will be a freshman in high school this year! *dances* I'm excited/nervous at the same time.
Yesterday was the fourth of July! I have spent a lot of time with some relatives this weekend *counts on fingers* 3rd cousins I think? :P They are 9 year old TRIPLETS. Yesterday we went to Mammoth Cave with them and had a really good time. Their dad is so funny XD It felt really good, because inside the cave it's about 54 degrees, and outside it was 90 and humid. Then we ate the best meal at my great aunt's house (steak, potatoes, mac & cheese, beans, bread, fudge sundae!) and played volleyball. Then we came home and lit fireworks, and I didn't get into bed until almost 1 a.m.
Also, I'm excited because I just ordered a new MP3 player, and I can't wait until it gets here. I would have seriously order faster shipping, but I didn't have the $ (I actually had a JOB at my dad's shop for a few days. $6.50 an hour. He sells motorcycles/ 4 wheelers and I did inventory)
We're leaving for a mission trip July 11-15, which I'm looking forward to (and not in some ways). It's still in Ky, but very Eastern, and a very poor area. Hopefully I'll have a lot to tell after that.
The fair is coming up, and is the week after we get back. Hopefully I'm going to enter some of my photos in the 4-H competition (you actually win $). If I do enter any I solemnly swear I will post them (now I'll actually have to:P).
Okay...So that's a lot of information, but that's a little bit of an update of what's going on with me. I hope I never go that long without posting again, sorry. See you tomorrow *crosses fingers*

I'm now back at school. Fun! :P Spring Break was relaxing, but boring. I read the fifth Harry Potter, which was good, but I didn't like the ending too much. *sigh* During school my life seems so.... repetitve. Especially since next week we have testing! *dies* And I'm just sitting here hoping a certain somebody will send me a message (DON'T ask.) I'm just sitting here waiting.... PLEASE???

Today we drove to Loveland, Ohio to go on a bike trail. It was fun, but VERY exhausting. We drove a little over 10 miles on a bicycle!!! Now my butt is very sore, and it will be quite interesting when I wake up in the morning. On the way home we stopped at an outlet mall, but didn't stay for long. I bought some capri pants, and a pair of polka dotted flip-flops.

Anyway, once again the reason I have not posted in a while is because of laziness, then I was grounded from the computer for 2 days ^-^ . But I had a good Easter. I wore my pretty green outfit, and got lots of candy. As of today I have almost eaten an entire bag of jelly beans :)

*yawn* I'm exhausted. I got home about an hour ago, then I took a nice hot shower. But now it's time for American Idol. Bye!

Once again it's been several days since I have posted. But this week has been very exhausting. Tuesday I had Concert Festival after school and didn't get home 'til almost 9. Although I was really tired, I had a lot of fun. Wednesday and Thursday were both very busy, but quite boring. Now.... up to today:

Today was picture day at school. I got a picture made with 3 of my friends. Whenever it comes back I'll hopefully post it. But today was the last day of school before Spring Break! We don't come back to school until April 11! That's two weeks of freedom and sleeping in late, and staying up late reading books under the covers with a flashlight. On the subject of books: I was pretty bummed today, because we were supposed to go to the school library to check out books today, but we couldn't because of picture day. So I only have one checked out, which will not last 2 weeks. There's always the public library though :)

BTW, I'm not posting this from my computer, but I'm at the elementary school (my mom works here, and she's busy working on a mural. Long story....) And I'm going to order a REALLY awesome looking new mouse for my room. I am deeply annoyed with the one I currently one. The new one is optical and lighted. I'll post a link whenever I get it. I think I need to stop now, or who knows what subject I will get on. Just remember, if you're reading this please leave me a comment, I really like to hear from you guys, whoever happens to stumble upon my shabby little blog. Maybe I'll post again tonight (2 posts in one day? ^_^). Whatever.

Overall today has been pretty fun. At school we watched a movie (Remember the Titans) then went to The Stadium. I played laser tag and it was awesome! It was a lot bigger than the one I'd been in before. I also played virtual skiing, skee ball, etc. But I was pretty angry because we had to wait almost an hour, because they kept running out of pizza, and we weren't aloud to go play until we ate. With my tickets I bought almost all candy (a long stick of laffy taffy, a ring pop, a dumdum sucker, tootsie roll, and a bouncy ball.)

But since I've been home, my dad was mad at me (started out over something stupid) but now I'm supposedly giving him the "cold shoulder" as I heard him say. Grrrr....... I do not feel like going into details.

And for some reason, I am really tired. *yawn* Good night.

Once again it's been a few days since I've posted, but even twice a week is good for me, because I'm known to start projects and not finish them. Anyway, it's been another busy/boring few days. But tomorrow we're going on a field trip to the Stadium. It's a place with laser tag/bowling/arcade/rock wall/etc. It should be fun, and best of all I get to miss normal classes!

I just finished baking a cake for my Nana (today's her 64th birthday!) And I'm going to take it to her tomorrow when I see her. It's in the oven now and it sure smells good!

Besides that not much has happened. Today I was pretty lazy and finished a book (Don't Look Behind You by Louis Duncan). It was pretty good. It's about a girl that has to go into the Witness Protection Program.

Tomorrow night I'll be at my Nana/Poppy's house, and Tuesday I have Concert Festival and I don't get back until 8:15. Oh well......

I just want you to know I didn't die! I know that I haven't posted in a few days, but this has been a REALLY busy week. One really cool thing that happened, is that my friend Emily (the one mentioned in previous post) painted me a picture for my birthday! She is so artistic. I envy her. Anyway, it's of a strawberry, and it has a chinese symbol on it that means friendship. How sweet! (I'll post a pic of it.)

Today we had a thing at our school called "Reality Store". It was to teach us about money/budgeting for the future. We got a job/pay based on our GPA (4.0 baby!). I was a University Teacher, making $30,450 a year. Then you had to buy a house, car, groceries, clothing, furniture, etc. from all these little booths. It was actually pretty fun (especially since I was missing Home Ec. for it. We're studying eating disorders. Bleh!). At the end, when I had money left, I went to the "chance" booth. Most of my friends had to pay when they went there, but I got a puppy. (Not real of course. Just in my pretend "life".)

BTW, I got my first official comment on my blog! I encourage anyone who reads this to leave a comment, to let me know I'm not typing this for nothing. And I did think that it sort of looked like a halo myself :P

Well... Today Avery (my 'lil sis) had her first horse-riding lesson today. I went and watched. Although in the process I bonded with the two cats (Splotch and Whiskers). It was cold, and I was standing outside watching for an hour. I brought along my camera, but it was either too dark, or the lighting was really weird, making everything look green.
Also, my dad has offered me a "paying job" to help him with his business' website (www.leesinc.com). I would basically be coding the part where you order things (add to cart, etc.) and adding new products there. I'm not sure how much I'd make, but it sounds pretty easy to me. He uses a neat little program called editplus (www.editplus.com). It's basically like notepad, but it color codes the tags, and other neat little features.
There's not much else to say, but since I seem to be posting a lot of links, how 'bout I post one more. My friend Emily's AWESOME site. (www.hyacinth.hirokache.com). Coded by her (in notepad!) and the design drawn in PSP by her. This is just my 'lil shoutout to Emily!

Not much happened today. Sunday's are usually boring. Once I got home I slept for almost 2 hours! So I probably won't fall asleep tonight. *sigh* But at least tomorrow we get out of school early (1:30) because the high school girl's basketball team is going to regionals. I'm sure I'll need the extra time to catch up on everything I missed Friday.
I really think I should learn to make my own webpage for real. It would be fun, and I would actually be accomplishing something with the several hours that I'm on the computer everyday. I know the very basics of HTML, but not enough to make a half decent site. I'm basically too lazy to learn. I'm such a procrastinator.

I am now officially 14! *dances* I had a good time tonight. We ate at Cracker Barrel's with both sets of Grandparents. Poppy told the waiter that it was my birthday, so the whole restaurant sang to me and they brought me chocolate cake/ice cream. I was embarassed, because it was quite unexpected, but the cake was really good. (Although I only ate about half of it, because I was already really full.) After that we were going to go bowling, but it was too crowded. Once I got home Maegan (my best friend) called, and so did my Aunt & Uncle both to wish me a happy birthday. Some presents I got were:
A whole outfit for church (light green). It was a blouse, matching skirt, necklace, and a really cute purse
another purse
a beach bag/towel set (Reeeeally soft. When pool season comes around, I will NOT be sharing.)
$5 (From my 'lil sis. Wasn't that nice?)
A Happy Bunny Shirt that says "not listening" and show's Happy Bunny covering his ears (fits my personality perfectly)
An orange tank
I'll still get a few more late. My aunt said she mailed hers Thursday, so it should be here Monday. Maegan will also give me hers Monday.

Phew!

I survived a day of All-District! It was fun, and we got to play a lot of really awesome pieces (including a medley of Phantom of the Opera. How cool is that?) By the end, I couldn't even play anymore, because my mouth was so sore. I can't last very long at all, since I got my braces.

We had a lot of fun though. On the way back from lunch, we were having a spit ball fight in the back of the bus. One time Koji spit one in my hair ! (Ewwww!) We ate at Fazoli's, and I got a smoothie and a giant cookie.

It was really cold today. It snowed REALLY hard, but just for a little while, so it didn't stick. But it's supposed to snow more overnight. In fact, they cancelled the second day of All-District for that very reason! In a way I'm glad though. I don't know if I could go through another day of it. It seems like a waste of practice though. At least the recorded a CD. I won't get it for a few weeks they said. A big bummer is that we didn't record Phantom of The Opera. We had about 10 songs, and only recorded 5.

I'm now the owner of a blog! YAY!!! I actually started one a week or two ago (I only posted once), but my dad (DAD- If you find out this one too, PLEASE let me know) found the link to it, so I deleted it. Not that I plan on putting really private stuff on here, I mean this is going to be posted on the internet for anyone who wants to to see. But it's like someone reading your journal, it's just not.... right.
Anyway, some things that are coming up for me are:

*All-District Band. I have mixed feelings about going. One big plus is that I get to miss school tomorrow to go to it! But, I will be gone about 12 hours tomorrow, and 12 hours Saturday. That is most of my weekend!!! And once I do get home, I doubt I will have any energy left. But a good thing is that a lot of my friends made it, and so at least I want be lonely. Our band director made us try out, and it wasn't like I was going to do bad on purpose. But the thing is, Saturday is my BIRTHDAY! I will be gone all day :(

*My Birthday! (As mentioned before). I will be 14! YAY! ( I know in my description it says I'm already 14, but hey I'm close enough right? I just wrote that today you know.) The problem is that everyone is asking me what I want, and I honestly don't know. I almost feel bad for not knowing. I think some people think I'm just being "nice" for not saying anything in paticular, but I REALLY DON'T KNOW! (Of course I'd always take a laptop, but I don't think that's in the budget, lol).

I guess that's enough rantings for today. I probably won't post for a few days because of all that's going on, but I should be back to let you know how everything went. I might post a few pics. (I've been getting into photgraphy lately, since I bought a digital camera. I'm even taking a Digital Photography class for one semester next year. That's actually how my parents met. I guess I'm just following in their footsteps XD ).
